The royal couple for the 2021-2022 season was made public yesterday, Thursday, by the Senegalese Basketball Federation. They are Bara Ndiaye (As Customs) and Couna Ndao. The two winners emerged victorious after the counting of the votes carried out this Wednesday, November 16 at the headquarters of the Senegalese Basketball Federation (FSBB). One of the craftsmen this season of the title of champion of Senegal of his team, the member of As Customs won the majority by obtaining 16 votes out of 35 ahead of Bamba Diallo (DUC) and Samba Daly Fall (As Customs). In competition with Ndèye Siry Diagne (SLBC) and Fatoumata Traoré (DBALOC), Couna Ndao retained her crown won for the second time at the end of the 2019 season. The Senegalese international who achieved the grand slam this season with the team of the municipality of Dakar (championship, Senegal Cup and Mayor’s Cup), was almost acclaimed since it totaled 33 votes out of 35. Saliou Guèye (USO), with Ndéye Seynabou Ka Ndoye (ASC Jaraaf) with (17/35) were named male and female revelation respectively.
