The Centenario sports unit will be the venue for the National Basketball Championship in the 3×3 modality, which will take place from November 25 to 27 of this year.
This championship is summoned by the Mexican Basketball Sports Association (ADEMEBA), under the command of the interim president, Modesto Robledo, in coordination with the national director of the 3×3 modality, Marcelo Walter Politi and the 3×3 National Manager, Melchor Maciel Magaña.
The teams that will represent Morelos in the women’s branch are: Cuernavaca-All Stars; Cuernavaca; Kennedy and Bachelors School “2” Jiutepec. While in the men’s branch there are the teams of: Cuernavaca, Axochiapan and Jiutepec.
Alberto Miranda Cuevas, president of the organizing committee, informed that INDEM will have the support under the direction of Germán Villa Castañeda, who will provide the facilities, as well as hydration in the competitions of this national tournament, in which an important participation is expected. of the teams, who will arrive on Tlahuica soil in search of the highest honors.
Miranda Cuevas pointed out that, so far, the states that have confirmed their participation are: Nuevo León, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Guerrero, CDMX, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Oaxaca and the hosts of the state of Morelos.

In the state of Morelos recently the state selective was carried out in the Revolución sports unitwhere there was a large participation of young people from different parts of the state, during the selective the teams that will be in this national contest were defined.
According to the competition rules, per state, two to four teams are accepted, they must be made up of four players and they will have to present two uniforms: one light and one dark. They must also be duly registered with their FIBA 3×3 profile; as well as adhere to the sanitary provisions established by the Organizing Committee to contain the spread of Covid-19.
The competition system will be in the first Round Robin phase by groups, in which each team will play at least three games; there will be a mixed pre-game mid-range shooting competition for third place. Each team must register the day of delivery of documents to a player, who may not be substituted for any reason.
