Medi Bayreuth has signed US playmaker Jarrod West. As the basketball Bundesliga club announced on Saturday, the 23-year-old last played in the first Chinese league with the Fujian Sturgeons. He will receive a contract in Bayreuth, initially limited to December 31 of this year.

“Jarrod is an aggressive defender and a good thrower. His character suits the team well, he plays very well for the team and will strengthen us again in the guard position,” said coach Lars Masell about the defensive player.
