Barco: “There is no other player like Juanfer, he has a beautiful left foot”

In River Plate they are expectant for the future of Juan Fernando Quintero. The midfielder has a signed relationship with the institution until the end of this year and, although on several occasions he has said that his priority is to continue, his continuity is not assured. There is interest from Brazilian and American teams in hiring him.

“Today I don’t know, but as I said recently: I have a contract until December 31 and we’ll see what happens. There is no need to rush. We will have to wait for the directors to decide regarding the coach. I expressed what I felt. I always have River as a priority, and the other we will see what happens”, Juanfer pointed out on ESPN.

But it is not only the intention of the Colombian, his teammates from River also want him to continue next year. In an interview with Super Miter Deportivo, Esequiel Barco reviewed his first year at the club, highlighted Quintero and acknowledged that they have asked him to stay.

“Of my teammates, the one that struck me was Juanfer. There is no other player like him, he has a beautiful left foot, he is crack. There is no other word”, pointed out the Argentine winger.
