Australia beat Tunisia, Duke scored the only goal

The Australians won only the third time at the world championship and the first time after seven matches. After a 1-4 defeat by defending champions France, coach Graham Arnold’s men got their first points in Qatar and will play Denmark on Wednesday for their second promotion from the group.

After the opening goalless draw, Tunisia did not score against the Northerners even in the second duel at the championship. The African team has a single point on their account, but they have not yet lost hope of a first-ever promotion to the knockout stages of the World Cup before the final group match against France. In today’s second group game, France will play against Denmark in the early evening.
