ATP > Hordorff (vice president of the German Federation): “When Becker has served his sentence, nothing will prevent him from resuming a function”

Authorized to leave the penitentiary center of Huntercombe, west London, where he has been imprisoned since April after his sentence to two and a half years in prison for tax evasion, Boris Becker will soon find Germany in under an early release program.

Following this period, the former world number 1 will have no trouble finding a job. The vice‐president of the DTB (German Tennis Federation), Dirk Hordorf, made a huge appeal to him in statements granted to sports picture.

“The doors of the DTB are always open to Boris Becker. When he has served his sentence, nothing will prevent him from resuming a function. The imperative of resocialization applies to everyone, therefore also to Boris Becker. He can choose his position. »
