Athletics, badminton, handball and basketball are the focus of the programming of the municipal sports schools of León

The Department of Sports of the City of León, through the municipal sports schools, organizes for this Saturday, November 19, athletics, badminton, handball and basketball activities.

The Municipal Sports School of Athletics launches the event ‘We get in shape’ from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Estadio Hispánico. The objective of this proposal is for boys and girls to recognize athletics as a very fun physical activity that helps them stay in shape. To do this, they will warm up beforehand and then they will compete in a series of athletic tests.

In addition, the La Torre Pavilion hosts the ‘Doubles Tournament’ of the Badminton Municipal Sports School from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Also, the Municipal Sports School of Basketball organizes the activity ‘3×3 Competition’ in the Margarita Ramos Pavilion from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The aim is for the children to warm up and then they will have a circuit of 3×3 matches.

Finally, the Municipal Handball Sports School launches, in the San Esteban Pavilion, the ‘4×4 Tournament’, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This activity consists of creating small handball fields taking advantage of basketball fields, with similar rules, but playing with four junior category players.
