Artist Banksy unveils a work made in Ukraine

If he did not claim their paternity, other works characteristic of Banksy’s line have also been spotted in the vicinity of kyiv in recent days. In a metaphor of David against Goliath, one shows a man resembling Vladimir Putin, dressed as a judoka, being knocked down by a child, appearing to represent Ukraine. Like the drawn man, Vladimir Putin is a black belt in judo.

Another design depicts a rhythmic gymnast with a ribbon in her hand. The young girl wears a neck brace and poses in point on the gaping hole of a strike in a building of Irpin, also in the suburbs of kyiv. Another work shows the silhouette of two children spray painted on a concrete defensive block in the Ukrainian capital, swinging. Mixing moments of childlike innocence with traces of war.
