Armed with a baseball bat, he hits a vehicle on the A13

The police are looking for people who witnessed a violent scene, on the A13, towards Foetz, on Friday November 18.

Sometimes a simple flick of the headlights can lead to gratuitous violence. This is what a motorist learned to his cost last Friday. While driving on the A13 towards Foetz at the wheel of his Seat, he saw the driver in front of him throw something out of the window of his Mercedes.

Outraged by this gesture, he flashes the headlights at the bastard, then overtakes him.

The driver of the green Mercedes, annoyed by these headlight flashes, insults him by using his fingers explicitly. And while this exchange of good practices could have stopped there, he decides to overtake the Seat in turn and then slows down in front of it.

The two drivers then stop on the emergency lane shortly after the Markusberg tunnel. Armed with a baseball bat, the driver of the Mercedes walks towards the other vehicle, and hits it, while its driver waits in his closed car for the arrival of the police.

The assailant then fled.

According to the police, he was between 35 and 50 years old, about 1.80 m tall, was of Mediterranean type and had black hair. His car would be a new green Mercedes, possibly a 2018 C-Class, registered in France in department 57. The identification plates began with FK-570-(??).

Anyone who witnessed the scene and can provide useful information on the fleeing vehicle and its driver is asked to contact the Remich-Mondorf police station, by telephone on (+352) 244 77 1000 or by e-mail. to [email protected]
