BILD shows the goal that is not allowed to be goal of the month
On Sunday, VfB Tünsdorf won their home game against Landesliga opponents SV Bardenbach in Saarland 3-0.
So far nothing unusual. Because ARD dumped the video that Dominik Wilhelm (32) shot, BILD is now reporting on the TRAUMTOR.

It’s the 93rd minute when Tünsdorfer Wilhelm really knocks you out. The left-back, who has been kicking since the age of six, slams the direct free kick from 25 meters into the corner. Fellow player Steven Marx (27) sent this goal to ARD to apply for goal of the month.
Their answer disappointed the amateur athletes.
Pal Steven Marx, who plays with Wilhelm, only saw the goal from the stands due to meniscus problems. He says to BILD: “Dominik is known for his powerful shot. So we thought come on, let’s film with you. His position is 25 meters, he has often scored a goal there.”
Boom, the 3-0 win against Bardenbach was perfect. The people from Tünsdorf filmed it with the I Phone-13.
The amateur athletes then sent the goal to ARD for the “Goal of the Month” application.
Now the answer of the ARD!
Wilhelm’s player colleague received a message on Wednesday, the wording of which is available to BILD. In the email, ARD responded with the words: “Thank you for the suggestion. Great goal. For the goal of the month, however, we need professional image material. A mobile phone video or pictures from Soccerwatch, Staige etc. are not enough.”
Marx is disappointed. “I remember from my youth that goals in the amateur field were represented in the sports show. It’s no longer visible at all. I think football is football, there are good goals everywhere, whether it’s in the Bundesliga or district league. That shouldn’t matter. I love it when amateur athletes see and think wow cool. That will also be seen.
Goal scorer Wilhelm is also annoyed in BILD. “I’m a bit annoyed, I think the quality isn’t bad. The camera is better than some other cameras.”
His reaction that BILD shows the goal in contrast to ARD: I’m happy. Maybe that will trigger something. And the opportunity is also given to others who score a goal like this.”
The fact is: BILD shows the goal that the sports show didn’t want!
