Arconnay. No holidays for judokas

The youngest of the club were in training last Wednesday at home. “It was the right time at the beginning of the year to welcome the young people of Arço (leisure center of the town) in order to share the activity and perhaps to discover future practitioners”explains Pierre François Hubert, the trainer.

The exam is this Saturday

The minimals and cadets took part in the kata course on Friday, October 28. This was an opportunity for the brown belts to prepare as well as possible in order to present the kata part during the exam on Saturday November 5th.

All the competitors met at the fifth AJ61 course in Alençon, this Saturday 29. A day that started with a morning jog followed by a judo session on the ground. In the afternoon, the work took place standing up with a lot of intensity and an hour of randoris (training fights). “A little rest before mass training in Caen, and the departmental kata course which will take place on Saturday November 5th”.

Teddy Riner himself

In parallel, Maël Dominé (youngest category 10-11 years old) was on internship at the National Institute of Judo in Paris. Maël had the chance and the honor to join “The Teddy-Riner Academy” for a three-day course, from Monday 24 to Wednesday 26 October. “So he was able to participate in judo sessions given by Teddy Riner. A very nice experience with a lot of memories”. There is no doubt that Maël will try to apply everything he has seen and learned during this stay in Paris, during the next competitions.
