Archery: weekend of medals

Spotlight on the field shooting specialty with the Lombardy Regional Championship held in Valmorea organized by Airone Turate and, in particular, on the Brianza archers Silvia Panizzolo, Marina Mostardini and Marco Sironi. Silvia Panizzolo (Archers Burarco Vimercate) who beat Gloria Cantù (Arc. Tre Torri) 36-31. The title in the long bow in the men’s version was earned by Marco Sironi (Meda String Company) who overtook Fiorenzo Bonando (Airone) 47-38. Finally, the challenge for bronze in the women’s bare archery was contested by Marina Mostardini (Burarco) and Adriana Corti (Airone), with the latter winning 39-38.

Archery: other competitions, other successes

From Valmorea to Cologno Monzese to record the results obtained by other Brianza archers starting with those of the club Seveso oak forest. In the Olympic arc, Tanya Giaccari won the gold in the seniors overtaking Chiara Pavone; then William Sioli and Greta Ormenese imitated her in the boys and, then, Manuele Buzzi in the very young. After having competed in Cologno, the masters Simone Canzi and Massimo Marenghi (Company of Monza and Brianza) they returned home with the silver and bronze medals. Three very young archers from the Olympics also won medals Polisp.Besanese: Samuele Patri and Maristella Spinelli (both silver), Matteo Casiraghi (bronze). Enzo Durante also won silver in the bare arch, senior category.
