The long bridge at the end of October-beginning of November saw the Ravenna Byzantine Archers engaged on two competition fields.
On Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th a large group of Giallorossi archers took part in the “City of Zola 2022” indoor competition organized by the Unione Sportiva Zola Predosa-Sec. Rift Archers.
A race with overall lower scores, but which failed to keep the wild Byzantines away from the podium with 12 medals.
As regards the senior categories and individual mastersthe only one oro wins it Marcello Tozzola in the arch Olympic male masters with a score of 544 (271 + 273).
In the division bow knot, Tozzolaafter a bad first heat, he makes up for it in the second one realizing the score of 499 (240 + 259) which allows him to get on the third step of the podium conquering the bronze medal. And it’s bronze also for Angela Padovani with 442 (215 + 227) for the female master naked bow. Again for the bare bow wooden medal for Simone Pizzi who also scores 499 points (249 + 250), but one gold away from his teammate, relegates him to 4th place. Sixth Massimo Venturi with 489 (246 + 243).
The sum of the scores of Tozzola, Pizzi and Venturi1487, makes the Giallorossi trio win the gold medal per the male master naked bow.
A welcome return for the Arco team men’s senior olympic which immediately places a second place: Costantini, Farinella and Nardi (in his second race and with a personal best) they won the silver medal with 1492 points.
In the individual Denis Costantini 6th with 504 points (252 + 252), while Alessandro Farinella and Luca Nardi are respectively 8th and 9th with equal points, 494, but with a gold in favor of Farinella.
The young Byzantines were very good that is al “City of Zola 2022” to Zola Predosa, who al “7th R2 Youth Trophy” di Castenaso on 1 November have placed excellent results.

It is not far behind Mirko Sebastian Grassi that, after having warmed up the engines a Zolawinning the silver medal with a score of 528 (259 + 269) in the Olympic junior male category, Monday 1 November a Castenaso he places an excellent 540 (269 + 271) which is worth it gold medal and its new personal best e you company.
Double race and double result also for Sofia Fuschini, junior class women Olympic division, which a Zola Predosa wins the gold medal with a score of 522 (262 + 260), while a Castenasowith a score of 498 points (250 + 248) wins the silver medal.
