ALEX Marquez admits he was surprised the first time he tried a Ducati motorbike. However, the new Gresini Ducati racer feels positive.
Since starting his career in motorcycle racing in 2012, Alex Marquez has never ridden a Ducati motorbike. He used Honda and KTM motorbikes in Moto3 in 2012-2014.
Entering Moto2 in 2015-2019, he is loyal to the motorbikes of the Kalex team. Until finally winning the championship in 2019 and promotion to MotoGP the following year.
From 2020 to 2022, the younger brother of Marc Marquez has always enjoyed the RC213V motorbike with Honda. Unfortunately, he crows to show his capabilities and is more often than not eclipsed by his older brother’s brilliance.
Alex made his debut for the next two years with Ducati at the Valencia post-season test in early November. He shared his positive feelings while paving a few laps on his new motorbike.

“The first test in Valencia is a strange thing. I have had the same motorbike for three years and the position is very different, it’s (like) not yours,” said Alex quoted on the Paddock GP page, Monday (28/11/2022).
