Albert Pujols started 2022 right: with the all-new Ferrari 488 Pista Spider. But that’s not the only car the Dominican baseball player has purchased this year. After a successful partnership with San Diego, California-based dealership Champion Motoring, he bought a blue Porsche 911 GT3 RS just days after his end at Ferrari.

But those two aren’t the only cars Pujols bought this year. Because he tapped his $170 million net worth and just enjoyed a McLaren 570S MSO X. champion

Motoring shared a look at the car in late September, which we feature here, when the supercar was part of its inventory for sale. It took almost two months, but it found its new owner: Albert Pujols, as the official Instagram account announced on November 11, editing the caption.

McLaren introduced the 570S in 2015. The car is both a coupe and a retractable hardtop convertible. One of the variants was the 570S MSO X designed by the North American McLaren Newport Beach dealership. To celebrate Daytona 24, they heavily modified 10 units, giving them the look and feel of a 570S GT4 race car, but still keeping them roadworthy.

The model is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 rated at 562 horsepower (570 ps) and 443 lb-ft (601 Nm) of torque, sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic SSG transmission. The hypercar can accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 204 mph (328 km/h).

The one Pujols got was the third of ten based on the 2018 model year. It sports a baby blue exterior and Alcantara interior, and has just 3,000 miles (just under 5,000 kilometers) on the clock. This collector car is sure to be the perfect addition to Pujols’ supercar-filled garage.
