ADOLESCENTS AND YOUNG PEOPLE FROM USHUAIA WERE THE PROTAGONISTS OF A NEW EDITION OF RINCÓN GEEK

The Secretary of Social Policies, Sabrina Marcucci, highlighted that “since Mayor Walter Vuoto’s decision to create the CePLA-El Palomar space in 2017 we have a place of reference for the accompaniment of adolescents and youth, which houses and generates proposals linked to their interests and desires”.
In addition, he stressed that “these proposals are necessary and are associated with the public policies of the Municipality” and based on this “we have to continue building the tools and spaces so that each sector of the city can express itself freely and calmly. to know that there is a Municipality that accompanies them day by day”.

For his part, the Undersecretary of Community Development of the Municipality, Pablo Pérez, stated that “we are going to continue generating these spaces and there will surely be new meetings in the remainder of the year”, while stressing that “we maintain a constant dialogue with the youth, as Mayor Walter Vuoto asks us”.

The director of Human Rights, Prevention and Youth, Constanza Rija, explained that “there were cosplay and drawing contests, and we also had the presence of 23 entrepreneurs who offer products related to anime and cosplay.”

To this he added that “music bands from Rio Grande and a group of dancers from K-Pop and urban rhythms from CePLA performed.”

Rija maintained that “the meeting was a success and that was also reflected in social networks” since “we had an increase in visits and interactions on Instagram, which was one of the objectives of Rincón Geek”.
