Australian Adam Scott who managed to bring former caddy Steve Williams out of early retirement this week has denied reports he could join LIV Golf.

According to numerous rumours, particularly fueled by the statements by his compatriot Cameron Smith ahead of the Australian PGA Championship, Adam Scott was set to sign with the Saudi Public Investment Fund-funded tour for the 2023 season.

“I’m really not sure of his position. I obviously can’t speak for him, he’s kind of been between the two (circuits) for a long time.” Smith had replied to the question concerning the possible arrival of his compatriot.

Australians have been in numbers since the winner of The Open Cam Smith, gave in to the calls of the foot, and the millions of dollars of the former world No. 1 Greg Norman at the end of August.

I don’t know if there’s ever been a better time to be a PGA Tour member

With a stage planned in Adelaide, the LIV continues its expansion and its business of seduction with the best players in the world who are still undecided.

Loyal and ambitious

The 42-year-old 2013 Masters winner spoke out on Eurosport to debunk the growing rumors of his departure, refuting the latest claims that he is about to quit the PGA Tour.

“I don’t know if there’s ever been a better time to be a member of the PGA Tour, with all 13 tournaments having been ‘boosted’ in prize money. That’s at least double the money we’ve ever played for.” did he declare.

Explaining earlier this week calling Steve Williams back to be by his sidein order to help him win a second major, Scott demonstrated that he still had a lot of ambition.

“It just has to be the right week. I have all the weapons. I am still very healthy. I always hit the ball very well and I have a lot of experience, and I just try to put everything in place.
