The Salta franchise fell as a visitor 101 to 79 against Barrio Parque. Today he will play, at 10 pm, with Ameghino in Villa María.

Salta Basket was categorically surpassed last night by Barrio Parque, who won 101-79 at home, in the first away match for the team from Salta in this second tour of the Northern Conference of the Argentine Basketball League.

The Salta franchise got off to a bad start in the first quarter, and after three minutes into the game they were losing by a 12-0 run until Facundo Arias Binda broke the drought and scored the first two points for Salta Basket, which was vastly surpassed by Barrio anyway. Parque, one of the best teams in the Northern Conference, which ended up taking the first set by 29-18.

In the second quarter the intensity of the people from Cordoba did not drop and they practically took the infernals ahead who tried to stay in the game thanks to the goalscoring contribution of their captain Nicolás Zurschimtten (he finished the night with 26 points). In general terms, the team led by Martín De Zan had many defensive and offensive errors against an opponent who always had their foot on the accelerator and finished the second set with fifteen points difference.

After the break, Lautaro Rivata, with several triples and the contribution of Ramiro Ledesma (scorer of the match with 27 points), made it impossible for the recovery from Salta to materialize on the night in Cordoba. Little by little, Barrio Parque was enlarging the difference and liquidating the game in the face of the impotence of the infernals who continued to make collective and individual mistakes. At the end of the quarter, the difference was 20 points in favor of the Cordovan team.

In the last quarter it was played almost without pressure, it was even the quarter in which there were fewer differences between the two teams since Salta Basket won the last set by two points, but the previous difference was key for Barrio Parque to win by 101 to 79 and continues to be one of the teams that remains at the top of the North Conference.

The infernals will have another hard test tonight, at 10:00 p.m., when they visit Ameghino from Villa María, Córdoba, in what will be their second game in this second tour looking for recovery.
