300 judokas will face each other in La Línea to enter the ‘top’ of the Senior Judo Championship this weekend

About 300 judo players will meet in La Línea this weekend to compete for the top positions in the Senior Championship of Spain, South sector, in which athletes from Canary Islands, Extremadura, Castilla y la Mancha, Andalusia, Ceuta and Melilla They will travel to the town to be part of this great event.

The meetings will be held from 11:30 in the morning. For the Spanish Senior Judo Championship, which is held on November 19, starting to compete at 9:30 a.m. In both cases, the entrance will be free and free.

Although, according to the advice released by the coach Juan Carlos Dominguez, coach of the Club Geikothe important clashes will begin to take place from 12:30 p.m.

“This is a golden opportunity. It is the first time that it has been held here in La Línea and, like the previous Andalusian championship, we will see very good judo. This is achieved with a lot of work and we thank the Andalusian Federation for trusting us”, explains Domínguez to the microphones of Diario Área.

Andalusian Championship

The line it becomes the ‘headquarters’ of the Andalusian and Spanish Judo Championships, one of the most important events in this sport in which they will meet casi 400 judokas, once the tournament ends this weekend, with the intention of achieving the ‘oro‘ in the Municipal Sports Pavilion.

The first of them, the Andalusian Championshipwas held on November 5 with the participation of some 170 athletes in the most important competition in the autonomous community.
