Who are the heroes who contributed greatly to Indonesia’s success in the 2022 MPLI?
The MPL Invitational 2022 (MPLI 2022) has just ended and two Indonesian teams have made it through to the grand finals, Geek Fam ID and ONIC Esports.
The All Indonesian Finals made the power of Garuda in MPLI even more solid. Of the three editions that have been held, the Indonesian team has always managed to become the champion.
Behind the success of the Red and White team in the tournament, it turned out that there were several heroes who contributed greatly. They have given many victories to the Indonesian team. Who are they? Check out the reviews.
The mainstay hero of the Indonesian team at MPLI 2022
Irithel
The first in the list of the Indonesian team’s mainstay heroes at MPLI 2022 is a marksman who has started to appear on the professional scene since getting a revamp, Irithel.
After the Irithel revamp patch appeared, hHero was immediately predicted to be the main choice for pro players. It does happen in MPL PH, but not in Indonesia.
Despite appearing quite often, Irithel’s winning percentage in MPL ID is not brilliant. He was only able to pocket a 33.3 percent win rate.
Uniquely, he really contributed to the success of the Indonesian team in the 2022 MPLI. It was recorded that the Jungle Heart 10 times appeared in the Red and White camp, and eight of them ended in victory.

The latest MLBB fighter is also included in this list, his ability to survive and do crowd control is very popular with Indonesian EXP Laners.
Of the 53 games played throughout the tournament, he appeared nine times for the Indonesian team. With seven wins Fredrinn recorded a 77.7 percent win rate when used by the Indonesian team.
The mechanism of the hero skill seems to fit very well with the playing style of Indonesian pro players. Overall the tournament, Rogue Appraiser only had a 50 percent win rate, far from the Indonesian team’s winning average.
Gusion
After getting the buff in patch 1.7.20, Gusion began to be in demand by pro players. ONIC Esports is the only team that directly uses it on MPL ID.
A month later, other Indonesian teams started using Gusion, to be precise in the 2022 MPLI tournament.
The hero mage assassin always appears in every draft of the match, whether picked or banned. Tournament statistics record that this hero has a 65% win rate.
But the Holy Blade turned out to be much sharper in the hands of the Indonesian team. When pro players from MPL ID use it, the win rate immediately jumps to 77 percent.
