23 disciplines turn Paseo Colón into Calle Deporte

The Seville City Council, through the Delegation of Ecological Transition and Sports, will celebrate this Sunday Street Sportan initiative that offers an experience in 23 subjects with the collaboration of 26 sports entities and the coordination of the Municipal Sports Institute.

This proposal for active leisure around the sport and physical exercise with family or group of friends It is free to access, free to participate as an activity to promote a healthy lifestyle and will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.



In this sense, it has been designed to under 4 to 13 years without prior registration and free of charge and will take place on Paseo Colón, which will be closed to traffic, between the intersections with the streets Adriano and Postigo del Carbon.

Calle Deporte continues the initiatives of Calle Cultura that have been carried out with great public success in Pino Montano, in His Eminence and also in Paseo Colón. To participate, boys and girls must pick up at the organization tent a ‘passport’ that will be stamped in each activity.

After completing five, athletes will be able to pick up their commemorative jersey and a drink for free while supplies last. To live these experiences, multiple platforms will be arranged such as playing fields and tracks where participants will be able to experience 23 disciplines such as chess, badminton, baseball and softball, capoeira, fencing, futsal, acrobatic gymnastics, artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, golf, roller hockey, karate, orienteering, skating, rowing, ringol, rugby, shorinji kempo, wheelchair slalom, surfskate, tennis, table tennis or volleyball.

This experience is also possible thanks to the technical and logistical collaboration of 26 entities specialized in the organization and dissemination of each of the proposed activities, such as the Lince Orienteering Sports Association, Ringol Sports Association, San Francisco de Paula Sports Association, Seville Baseball and Softball Sports Club, Ciudad de Sevilla Rhythmic Gymnastics Sports Club, Cristo Rey Sports Club, South Gymnastics Sports Club, Karate Bushin Sports Club, Las Flores Sevilla Volleyball Sports Club, Olimpic de Triana Sports Club, Pyramidos Sports Club, Sevilla Rowing Sports Club, Shorinji Kempo Sevilla Giralda Sports Club, Sydney2000 Rhythmic Gymnastics Sports Club, Híspalis Table Tennis Sports Club, Unity Roller Sports Club, Sports Club Sevilla Rugby Veterans, Club Patín Sevilla Skate Hockey, Sevillian Delegation of the Andalusian Chess Federation, Public Company for the Management of Tourism and Sports.
