OtoRace.id – Danilo Petrucci finally returned to the MotoGP Thailand 2022 and rode the Suzuki GSX-RR last week.
Danilo Petrucci rides Joan Mir’s Suzuki GSX-RR, who missed the Thailand 2022 MotoGP due to an ankle injury at the Austrian MotoGP.
To be able to race the Suzuki GSX-RR in the MotoGP Thailand 2022, it is not an easy permit for Danilo Petrucci.
The reason is, this Italian racer is a Ducati racer in this year’s MotoAmerica event.
However, because of the good attitude and the targets achieved in the MotoAmerica racing scene, Ducati Corse finally invited Petrucci to race with Suzuki Ecstar.
Livio Suppo’s desire as team manager for Suzuki Ecstar was finally realized to bring Petrucci to MotoGP again, even if only as a replacement for Joan Mir.
To be interesting, Danilo Petrucci made interesting comments after he raced the Suzuki GSX-RR at the Buriram circuit for the MotoGP Thailand 2022.
“If I raced with this bike last year, I would not have quit MotoGP,” said Petrucci.
Petrucci decided to retire from MotoGP after defending the Tech KTM team last year and try his luck by racing in the Dakar Rally.
