► Götze has been in charge of Frankfurt’s game since his return in the summer (two goals, three assists in 19 games). He is enormously strong, a playmaker in midfield, incredibly effective and clever, and in top form.
At the last international matches in September, Flick thought about nominating Götze after Goretzka (Bayern) and Brandt (Dortmund) had to be canceled due to illness, but decided against it after consulting the world champion.
Götze on Sky: “I don’t need to say anything about that. It’s not in my hands.”
But both are already on the 55 list…
