A great step, historical and that sows to reap and much in the future. Between Friday the 21st and Sunday the 23rd, an attractive First Division Basketball Regional Tournament was held. The event was organized by CUBA Bariloche and took place over two days at School No. 321 and the definition was given at the Vereertbrugghen Street Club.
The contest was attended by the Municipal School of Bariloche (it won the title), El Bolsón, Cutral Co, Picún Leufú and Cuba.
There was a lot of organizational work, with a great effort to be able to have three excellent days and take a very big step thinking of repeating similar experiences.
It all started on Friday in the gym of School No. 321. In the first match, the Municipal School beat Cuba 67-30.
On Saturday, on the same stage, 6 games were played. The Municipal School defeated El Bolsón (73-21) and Cutral Co (52-49).
Meanwhile, Cutral Co beat Picún Leufú 46-45, Cuba beat Cutral Co (39-34) and El Bolsón (63-9) and Picún won against El Bolsón 53-23.
Sunday was definition time at The Club. The Municipal School celebrated the title after beating Picún Leufú 50-24.
Cuba secured the runner-up position by beating Picún Leufú 47-41 and Cutral Co achieved third place by winning against El Bolsón 55-15.
The final positions: 1) Municipal School of Bariloche; 2) Cuba; 3) Cutral Co; 4) Picún Leufú and 5) El Bolsón. (ANB)
