SK Beveren took the lead on Friday evening on the ninth match day of the Challenger Pro League. It sent Deinze home 2-1 and could thank Dieumerci Mbokani for that. The striker made his debut with the home team and immediately gave his business card with a wonderful winning goal.

Captain Kevin Hoggas broke the spell on behalf of the Lions early on and that score also remained untouched for quite some time, until Joachim Carcela seemed to get a point out of the fire for Deinze ten minutes before the end.
But the debuting Dieumerci Mbokani, finally entitled to play after a long administrative soap, decided otherwise with a handsome winning goal.
The Congolese cut his direct attacker Denys Prychynenko wonderfully and then put goalie Nacho Miras on the wrong foot: 2-1, the Freethiel exploded.
Because of the three points, Beveren is in the lead in 1B for the time being, but on Sunday the promises of Anderlecht can take over the baton again with a win against Jong Genk.
