Warriors and Wizards kick off NBA preseason

they started NBA preseason activities and they were the champions Golden State Warriors those in charge of opening the actions confronting the Washington Wizards at a match held in Japan.

For the Warriors the duel served to to see the return of James Wiseman, who missed all of last season with a knee injury. Wiseman is one of Golden State’s young prospects, and his presence on the floor makes Steve Kerr and the rest of the team happy. He finished with 20 points and 9 rebounds in 24 minutes.

Stephen Curry did not have much participation, he barely played 13 minutes in which he made just 1 of his 7 shots, leaving with six points.

Klay Thompson will not have activity in the games in Japancoach Steve Kerr decided not to risk it due to the short time in preseason, so in Japan, they will be left without seeing one of the Splash Brothers.

Warriors and Wizards will meet again in the early hours of October 2 in the second game of the NBA Japan Games 2022.
