This is what happened in via Saragat in Venaria in recent days. A 40-year-old resident of the Reale has ended up in trouble, denounced for resistance and insult to a public official, refusal to undergo an alcohol test and abusive carrying of an improper weapon.
The woman, who was in the car with her minor son, was stopped by the carabinieri in the Altessano neighborhood, not far from her home. The military, who had stopped that car for a normal nightly routine check, became suspicious when the woman started talking and asking why the check was made. The carabinieri, in fact, immediately perceived how the woman was driving in a state of intoxication. And so they decide to take her out of the vehicle to test her. But as soon as she gets out of the car, the military notices a wooden object hidden under the driver’s seat: a baseball bat. The woman tried to explain, without being able to convince the police, how it was a toy of her son who was with her and left in the car for mere distraction.
The 40-year-old then began to rant against the carabinieri – who remained impassive and repeatedly trying to make her reason – repeatedly refusing to undergo the alcohol test, attacking them with offensive words and pushing them, and also trying to take back the car keys to get away .
