Türkgücü Munich – regional league must move – sport

Türkgücü Munich may soon have to dig deep into their wallets: According to SZ information, the city of Munich has suggested that the regional football league team play a few home games in the Olympic Stadium before the winter break – the Grünwalder Stadium is therefore no longer available. The club is allowed to play a maximum of twelve home games in the busy Grünwalder Stadion, which is run by the city. In the meantime, however, he has played eight games there, but the more expensive Olympic Stadium will not be available from spring. Türkgücü had actually planned to exhaust his contingent in the Grünwalder Stadium and then look for a cheaper venue for the rest of the round in 2023. Now the club should be forced to pay several times 25,000 euros per game for the stadium rent in the Olympic Stadium. According to SZ information, the city has also informed the club that the Dante Stadium is not available for football games. Due to the history of the club, whose GmbH filed for bankruptcy last season, Türkgücü has to pay for his games in the Olympic Stadium several weeks in advance.
