More than 820 participants began this week to enjoy the Municipal Sports Schools 2022-2023. Among the 27 modalities for children under 14 years of age and the 5 modalities for adults (a novelty this year), a record number of registered users was reached, who will be able to enjoy two hours of training in their favorite sport for only 50 euros a year. . From this catalog, finally Salvamento, Waterpolo and Crossfit did not have enough registered to carry out the classes. Of the modalities for children under 14 years of age, Judo, Boxing, Basketball, Taekwondo and Futsal were the most popular. In the case of the adult modalities, this was Maintenance Gymnastics. “The project of the Municipal Sports Schools grows every year, not only in the offer of modalities but also in the number of users, who now are of all ages”, indicates the mayor Antonio Traba.
