During the ceremony, recognition was given to the former presidents of this centennial institution.

In addition, Loncon and Grasso signed an act that provides for the transfer of the Tennis Club land and the adjudication decree was delivered.

In his speech, the president of the Club stated that celebrating 100 years “comes with pride and satisfaction. “This stimulus that permanently encourages us to make this sport one of the most attractive for the population, leads us to create traces, stages of institutional growth, today we lack space to continue building fields in this place, but we know that in the future the expansion of our institution aims to grow in the property that we own on National Route No. 3, in front of the municipal racetrack”.

For his part, Pablo Grasso celebrated the 100th anniversary of the institution and referred to the transfer of the land, assuring that “I know that it is a yearning for many years, a job that they have done for a long time. Having taken care of the club, which is an emblematic place for Río Gallegos, many generations have passed, it costs a lot to sustain it”.

He added that “it fills us with satisfaction to be just at the right time, I had to be mayor and be able to be next to you celebrating these 100 years.”
