The star of the National Football League (NFLfor its acronym in English) Tom Brady and his wife, the former Brazilian top model Gisele Bündchen, could be on the verge of divorce and now a theory has emerged that would link the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo with the breakup of the mediatic couple.
On February 1, 2022, Tom Brady announced his retirement from the NFL through social networks, with an extensive statement.
“I have loved my career in the NFL and now I want to use my time and energy in other things,” read part of the letter.
Also, the quarterback doubted he would be 100%, so he decided to put an end to a successful career, which included ten Superbowls.
MEETING WITH CRISTIANO RONALDO
On March 12, just over a month after his retirement, Brady visited Old Trafford to enjoy a Manchester United match against Tottenham in the stands.
That day Cristiano Ronaldo scored the three goals scored by the Red Devils against the London club led by Antonio Conte.
The American visited the pitch after the game to congratulate the Portuguese before the two merged into a warm and friendly hug. “Great game. Well played”, Brady told the Portuguese.

They then had a short conversation where Ronaldo asked Brady if he really had finished his football career. The quarterback made a sad face and did not answer the question, according to the Spanish media AS.
Less than 48 hours after that game, where Cristiano scored a hat-trick at the age of 37, Tom Brady decided to reverse his decision and return to the NFL.
“These last two months I have realized that my place is still on the pitch and not in the stands. That moment will come, but it is not now,” said the athlete.
This decision, which apparently did not consult with his wife and occurred hours after his meeting with the Portuguese, would have sealed the fate of the media marriage.
