The future of Roger Federer after his retirement from tennis | outside of football

Following his announcement that he was quitting tennis a couple of weeks ago, Roger Federer’s future is uncertain. The Swiss who played his last game on September 23 must now find a vocation for the rest of his life.

The player himself had already mentioned that it would be difficult for him to find something to replace tennis. However, since this Friday the rumors of what he would do in 2023 began to sound.

According to BBC journalist Sue Barker, Federer could join the commentary team during the next edition of Wimbledon.

This was replicated by the British journalist who commented that: “Sue has hinted that tennis legend Roger Federer, who has withdrawn from the Laver Cup, could join the BBC commentary team for the next edition of Wimbledon.”

In this way, the European would return to one of the most emblematic places for him since he has had the opportunity to consecrate himself there eight times (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2012 and 2017).

It should be noted that Federer withdrew from the courts due to his knee injury, which in his recovery process did not heal as the player would have wanted, so he was forced to step aside.
