Guérigny. ASGU Foot presented its section. On Friday, there was a crowd at the François-Mitterrand hall in Guérigny during the presentation of the Asgu football section. This recurring gathering allows all members to meet to get to know each other better. The opportunity also for the partners to discover the club in its entirety and to measure the importance of the section.
Miguel Simoes, the president, took charge of the presentation. All functions within the club have been cited, whether referees, leaders (members of the board of directors or the office), educators, volunteers at the refreshment bar or in logistics, accompanying persons, partners, youth or adult teams…
The president honored Thierry Greffier who, for years, has ensured the logistics and the proper functioning of the club. Without him, Asgu football would not run as well.
The section has nearly a hundred young people spread over six teams ranging from U7s to U18s.
On the adult side, the club has two senior teams and a women’s team.
Before the friendship drink, the president launched several calls: parents to manage the youth teams, volunteers (even young people) to become referees and an assistant treasurer.
