Two successive annual general meetings could not take place face-to-face. This year the tradition is restored in the presence of Céline Salle, vice-president of the Departmental Council, and Michel Rancé representing the departmental committee of UFOPEL.

The FIVA, Foyer Intercommunal du Val d’Arros brings together the municipalities of Haget, Beccas, Betplan, Malabat, Cazaux Villecomtal, Montégut Arros and Villecomtal sur Arros.

In front of a large group of members, Christiane Bonnassies was able to present her very extensive moral report. Indeed, all the sections have resumed a laborious activity. In turn, the president presented the highlights of each section: Modern dance, young dance, traditional dances, jazz music, archery, cooking, sewing & patchwork, memory of the villages, speaking Gascon. Marie Pelaès presented a report of the two dance evenings organized in front of a full house at the Astrada in Marciac. A new collection of Memory of the villages could be published before the end of the year. The march will be relaunched by Jean Luc Bringard after a long period of inactivity following the death of Gilbert Bernissan. For May 1, Jean Jacques Vacher is preparing an archery tournament.

FIVA’s participation in the Telethon is confirmed. The details of the day will be announced very soon.

Alain Turo presented a clear and positive balance sheet for FIVA.

Once the votes had been taken on the various reports, the unchanged amount of contributions, then the renewal of part of the board of directors, a copious buffet awaited the participants at the general meeting.
