The Diputación de Málaga, together with Unicaja Baloncesto, recovers after three years the campaign Sport is life in the province. The provincial institution today raffled off the club’s tickets for the 2022/2023 season matches. This initiative allows the residents of each of the 102 municipalities outside the capital to attend the games played by Unicaja Basketball at the José María Martn Carpena sports palace, both in the ACB and BCL leagues.

The draw, held at the Diputación, was attended by almost a hundred technicians, councilors and mayors from all the participating municipalities. In total there will be 110 tickets per match, and each City Council will receive 22 tickets per match. Each will be attended by fans from five different towns.

The fourth vice president and deputy for Sports, Cristóbal Ortega, has celebrated that the Diputación de Málaga can resume this program, whose last edition took place in 2019 due to the health crisis, and in this way bring top-level basketball closer to all. municipalities of the province. The event was attended by the Deputy for Sports, Cristóbal Ortega, and José Carlos Gaspar, director of marketing for Unicaja Baloncesto.

This program is resumed, therefore, completing 24 editions this season. During this time, the campaign has brought around 30,000 people from Malaga to enjoy sport in the province. The results of today’s draw will be published on the Sports website of the Diputación de Málaga.
