On October 16, the Envidarte socio-cultural space will host the new edition of the Neighbor’s Day, dedicated to Sports, and where 31 Montillan associations and groups will participate, exhibiting their activities in their own stands, inside the building.
“This will be an important day of coexistence for Montilla associations and a day for participation in which all citizens will be able to learn about the activities carried out by the different Montilla associations, join us if they interest us, and the great fabric will be shown association of the city. An activity that is also possible thanks to the co-financing of the Córdoba Provincial Council, as explained by Valeriano Rosales, Citizen Participation delegate.
“This initiative comes from the Council for Citizen Participation, which has been the one who has decided, in consensus with all the associations and groups, to return to this Neighborhood Day format and move it to these dates,” Rosales pointed out during the presentation to the media.
Some sports-related activities will be carried out outside the complex itself, although the traditional paella will also be prepared for all attendees. At 9 in the morning and until 12 the Laguna de Jarata hiking route will take place, with departure and arrival at the Envidarte complex. Registration will be at the Mayor Antonio Carpio Cultural Center and at the Youth Information Center.
From 12:00 to 14:00 there will be a Badminton meeting organized by the Badminton Club itself. From 12 noon to 2 p.m. there will also be a date with Basketball, organized by the Montilla Basketball Club; Minifootball, by the MONFUBA Sports Club; of Muay Thai by the Muay Thay Lovers Association TAwai Bang Kom; and Hapkido, by the Montillana Hapkido Association.
Also at 12 noon the Fitness activities will begin, taught by Montse Simón: at 12 noon Pilates, at 1 pm Aerobics and also at 1 pm there will be physical activity for children. From 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Aerozumba exhibition will take place, by CD Aurofitness; from 4 to 6 p.m. the Jumping Rope, by the Jumping Rope Club and from 5 to 6 p.m., the Athletics, by the Montilla Athletics Club.
