The titánico-Ceares de Tercera RFEF that should be played this morning has been suspended due to a traffic accident suffered by the coaching staff of the club from Gijón. Specifically, by the first coach, Julio Llanos, and his second, Miguel Méndez. Both have minor injuries, although they were evacuated by ambulance to the Valle del Nalón hospital to properly examine their injuries.
Llanos and Méndez were in a vehicle heading to Laviana to play the match and, in the Nalón corridor, around 10:30 a.m., a car hit them from the driver’s side, causing a strong crash, for unknown reasons. Apparently, the car that hit the coaches’ vehicle fled after the impact. Fortunately, neither of the two affected seem to have serious injuries.
The game is suspended by accident of our coaching staff.
We appreciate the interest and concern of fans, players and directors of the Titanic and other clubs.
Both are under observation and affected by the accident, but without serious injuries. https://t.co/iH2ulRf8DG pic.twitter.com/TrbLsHGNEf
