Shapovalov and Nishioka will play the final in Seoul

the canadian Denis Shapovalov and the japanese Yoshihito Nishioka they will dispute the seoul tournament finalafter defeating Americans Jenson Brooksby and Aleksandar Kovacevic, respectively.

Shapovalov (n.24 ATP) won by 7-5 y 6-4in 1 hour and 35 minutes, at Brooksby (n.46); while Nishioka (n.56) did the same before Kovacevic (n.222) by 6-3, 4-6 y 6-3in 1 hour and 54 minutes.

The Canadian has not yet lost a set in the South Korean tournament, an ATP 250 on hard surface, and his victory in the final could mean the second title in his record, after the one won in Stockholm in 2019. For the Japanese player it would also be the second title, since he won in 2018 in Shenzhen (China).

Both players are left-handed and in the only previous match, in Shenzhen in 2018, Nishioka won, 7-6(5), 3-6, 7-5.
