Several resignations registered at the MLC

Billom. AG of the MLC. During its general assembly, the MLC of Billom drew up its moral and financial report. The year 2021-2022 was a special year due to the constraints of the vaccination pass. This led to a 30% drop in attendance for teen-adult activities (particularly dance and gym). In addition, many animators contracted the Covid and were absent. One host quit over the pass, and another suspended her activities. Another resignation is lamented due to work overload. The team was however reinforced by two arrivals: Ophélie Champion and Peggy Balmava.

During confinement, Morgane Dupuy, modern jazz choreographer, created the show Empreinte, the preview of which took place in Billom on March 12.

The modern jazz dance class took part in the choreographic meetings and the dance workshop competition.

The open dance stage brought together six dance schools. The day ended with a performance by the Jais company.

The open circus stage was also a success with the conclusion Havoc at Ratbord of the Fil à Retordre company.

Au Chœur d’elles has performed for Casa, for the Téléthon, and for the Autour d’elles Festival. The MLC also participated in the cultural season of the Automnales.

The archery section was very active with many outings. The archery challenge at the Château de la Chaux Montgros was also a success.

New activities (baby body awareness, cardio boxing and adapted sports) got off to a good start. New activities are planned.

The children’s courses were well attended but several adult courses had to be canceled for lack of participants.

The theater company Bill’ in the lead has decided to leave the MLC.

The financial result excluding subsidies is €28,934. The grants are €24,654.
