16.10. 18:00

Goals: 45. Juan Jesus, 49. Hirving Lozano, 69. Victor Osimhen – 41. Joshua Zirkzee, 52. Musa Barrow

Napoli did it again and once again conquered the opponent because they outshot them. But it must be said that Bologna did not come easy this time and Napoli had their hands and feet full of work to turn the home duel around. She managed to do that towards the end of the game, and none other than substitute Osimhen took care of it.

Who would have thought that of all the opponents (including the Champions League), Spalletti’s team would take the most trouble from Bologna. The one that is definitely not shining this season and the change of coach is not helping her results yet. Today, Napoli allowed themselves to leave the two typical strikers of Simeone and Osimhene on the bench and deployed Raspadori or Politano.

It was the AS Roma protege, who made a name for himself in Sassuolo, who got his first chance. But we had to wait for her for 27 minutes, which is unusual for Napoli this year. Until then, Bologna managed to defend successfully even with the help of more frequent interruptions of the game. Politano ran to the center of the goal and, after a pass into the second wave, shot just over the goal.

A bit later, the visiting team also had a better chance, but the defender Cambiaso finished his penetration a few meters wide. Towards the end of the half, however, Felsinei surprisingly came within striking distance more and more often. At first, they missed a step, but in the 41st minute, it worked out for the visitors. Cambiaso stepped up the attack very well and put the ball under him to Joshua Zirkzee. He already had a relatively easy job and he managed!

But Bologna’s leadership did not last very long. After only four minutes, Napoli kicked a corner, which the guests did not quite ideally pacify. The ball remained in the danger area, where the defender Juan Jesus covered it and burned through everything in front of him.

And then the skills of the strategist Spalletti showed again. He sent the duo Osimhen – Lozano into the game for the entire second half, and it was again a great move. Kvaracchelia first stopped the fight in the goal and scored on Osimhen. The young striker lost the ball, but it went to Lozano, and the Mexican winger managed to score despite the great angle.

To err is human, and goalkeeper Meret also made one big mistake. Just two minutes after the scored goal, Napoli conceded. Striker Musa Barrow stretched for a shot from a long distance and his beautiful shot surprisingly went straight into the net after a mistake by Mereta! However, that didn’t stop Napoli and the substitutes kept the show going. Twenty minutes before the end of the match, Kvaracchelia sent substitute Osimhen to escape and he shot through Skorupski! Zieliński could have beaten his compatriot at the end, but he only hit the crossbar.
