Salviac. A judo club for young people

The associative fabric of Salviac is fortunate to have several sports clubs, we met a Judo teacher at the last Salviac association forum. We went to attend his classes on Wednesday, October 5 at the Salviac village hall, where he installed his tatami mats in order to start practicing his art, and give his first lessons to young children. Éric Lecuru has expanded the range of activities in Salviac, by creating a Judo club for children aged 4 to 10. Whether they are in primary or kindergarten, everyone can come and discover this new activity from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. for 4-6 year olds and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. for 7-10 year olds. Vector of values and respect for others, judo is also a very good way to open up to others by gaining self-confidence, and thanks to the work done together. Judo partners not only need each other in order to learn, but are also responsible for each other’s safety and well-being. It is an individual sport but it cannot be practiced alone, and you must therefore learn to adapt to your “partner”. Children have the opportunity to learn about the activity with two trial sessions. For more information, you can contact the teacher (Eric) on 06 89 52 77 89.
