“SĀC” floorball players give way to both “Ulbroka” and “Ķekava” in different ways

The calendar of the Latvian floorball super league was pleased that the Saulkrasti, Ādaži and Carnikava floorball club “SĀC” had to play two games against the other two Pieriga teams – the floorball school “Masters”/Ulbrok and “Ķekava” in two days. On Friday, the floorball players took a 2:1 lead in Ulbroka sports complex “SĀC” with two accurate shots within half a minute. However, the hosts responded to the next goal in the middle of the second period with 13 balls in the visitors’ goal. In the end, a crushing victory for Ulbrokians 16:5. The fact that the floorball players of FBK “SĀC” are not so bad after all, they proved on Friday evening at the Đažu Sports Center, where they hosted the “Ķekavas” team. The beginning of the match didn’t bode well for them – in the 14th minute it was already 0:5. However, at the beginning of the third period, the home team had reduced the difference to a minimum (5:6), but 67 seconds before the end of the regular time, they also equalized at 7:7. However, it was not possible to get more than one point – at the beginning of the 5th minute of overtime, Renāts Degins scored the winning goal for Kekavians (8:7).

Ernests Ronis stood out for “Ķekavas” with four goals and one assist. Dēvids Osītis (0+4) and Alvids Dāle (3+0) were the most productive in “SĀC”.

Before the holiday games, FS “Masters”/Ulbroka (11 points in 4 games) and “Ķekava” (10 points in 6 games) occupy the first two places in the league table. FBK “SĀC” is in the penultimate tenth place with one win and three points in six matches. position.

The floorball players of “Ķekavas Bulldogs” were also victorious on Friday evening, when they hosted the RTU/”Rockets-1″ team in the Latvian first league game. The second success at the start of the Latvian second league season was won by the floorball players of Inčukalna sports club “Coyote”, who beat “Smiltene’09” 12:7 away on Friday.
