It has already been reported that on Friday the Latvian shooter in the first round – shooting at the black target – showed the 60th result in the competition of 89 shooters with 284 points.
On Saturday, in the second round, in which 30 shots had to be fired at a temporarily visible target, Rashmane collected 295 points out of 300, in two days she reached 579 points and climbed to 26th place.
It was necessary to reach 583 points to enter the top eight, which continued the fight for medals in the final.
The best result with 590 points was achieved by the German athlete Dorina Fennekamp.
The World Shooting Championship takes place in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, from October 12 to 25.
