“The problem is that football is becoming worse than life” highlighted Frederic Waseige. “Before, football was an escape for the children, the fans, the players, it was a reunion, a communion. Now, since there is so much money in football, it has become the symbol of all the excesses of our time : corruption, mistreatment of human beings, no respect for ecology. Nothing to kick because there is money to be made, so it’s infinite sadness and of course you have to fight that”.
