Nearly 800 young people gather at the Francisco Laporta sports center for the AITEX Olympiad | Present

About 800 young people from all the educational centers of Alcoy, Cocentaina and Muro, from 4th year of ESO, have participated in the AITEX Olympics with the aim of learning about the importance of fabrics in the world of sports and professional opportunities in the textile sector existing in our regions, while practicing up to 16 different types of sports.

Quico Sempere, head of institutional relations at AITEX, thanked for the great response obtained in this call, as did Bea Doménech, from the same department. In the attached audio we can listen to them, as well as two teachers from the IES Pare Vitòria, Eva and Cristian, and a group of students from the same center.

The day concluded with the delivery of gifts to the participants in a closing ceremony in which the director of AITEX, Vicente Blanes, and the Councilor for Sports, Alberto Belda, were present.
