NBA – Shortly before the start of the season: Schröder injured his finger

Cologne (SID) – National basketball player Dennis Schröder has suffered a finger injury and will miss the Los Angeles Lakers at least in the test game against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night. As US media reports, detailed investigations should now provide information about the severity of the injury and the downtime of the 29-year-old. The Lakers start the season against champions Golden State on Wednesday night.

For Schröder, the return to the Lakers is still not under a good star. Due to visa problems, the third-placed European was only able to travel to the USA last weekend and started training much later.

Schröder, who already played for the record champions in the 2020/21 season, has signed a low-paying one-year contract with the Lakers and wants to recommend himself for a long-term commitment.
