NBA. A first loss for Atlanta.

A differential of -19 for his first double double of the season: Clint Capela had a very contrasting Sunday against Charlotte.

On its floor, Atlanta lost 126-109 to the Hornets to concede its first loss of the year after two initial victories. Clint Capela, credited with 14 points and 10 rebounds, and his teammates sank in a third quarter loss 45-29.

The Hawks had however started the meeting in the most beautiful way with a partial of 11-0 which allowed them to lead 15-5. “We weren’t able to defend tonight,” fumed Atlanta coach Nate McMilan.

Led by Kelly Oubre Jr, author of 24 points, Charlotte took revenge on the defeat inflicted by the Hawks during the spring play-in last time. After this dark Sunday, Atlanta will try to bounce back Wednesday in Detroit for its first trip of the season.

Note also the third defeat in three games of the Lakers. In front of their audience, LeBron James and his teammates lost 106-104 to Portland when they were still leading 102-95 at 1’56” from the buzzer.
