Nacional, Goes and Larre Borges won at the start of the Uruguayan Basketball League

Nacional, Goes and Larre Borges won this Thursday at the start of the Uruguayan Basketball League, a tournament where Biguá will go in search of a historic three-time championship, although he has free time on the first date.

The first surprise of the championship was given by Larre Borges who beat Hebraica Macabi 82-74 on the Unión Atlética court.

Gastón Semiglia, debuting in Larre against his former team, was the scorer for the aurinegro with 21 points. Ricardo Glenn stood out with 15 touchdowns, 13 rebounds and five assists.

Joseph Lawson was Macabi’s top scorer with 21 points and led the team in rebounding with eight.

In the other game of the night, Trouville and Goes went into extra time at 81 and there the missionary won 90-87 in Chucarro.

Bernardo Barrera had 19 points and Ignacio Xavier 18 in Goes. The latter also grabbed 14 rebounds on an outstanding night.

Trouville’s Casey Jones was the night’s top scorer with 22 points.
