Manchester United core player Cristiano Ronaldo says he’ll be back ‘soon’

The love story between Cristiano Ronaldo et son Manchester United is definitely turning sour over the weeks. Already tumultuous since the start of the season (the Portuguese being reduced to a role of foil within the team), the relationship between the two camps took a radical new turn on Thursday evening.

The Mancunian management, no doubt influenced by the coach Erik ten Haghas indeed decided to exclude Cristiano Ronaldo of its professional nucleus which will face Chelsea on Saturday (6:30 p.m.). She would not have appreciated the behavior of CR7 during the match against Tottenham, the main interested party having decided to leave Old Trafford prematurely after having, supposedly, refused to go into the game a few minutes earlier.

Returning to the club with great fanfare in 2021 after a three-season exile at Juventus, Ronaldo therefore finds himself forced to train alone. One more snub for the club legend, who has become, in the space of a few weeks, the number one public enemy of the Mancunian front office.

It now remains to be seen when (and especially if) management will reconsider its decision.
