KV Kortrijk handed leader Antwerp a first league defeat yesterday. But the big topic of conversation was Didier Lamkel Zé’s behavior towards his ex-club. “The people of KV Kortrijk, who all loved what Lamkel Zé did yesterday, will still be annoyed by him,” predicts Peter Vandenbempt.

Lamkel Zé has managed to give the impression that he was the man of the match. He was also as a clown, showman or poser, but certainly not as a football player.
At Kortrijk, 4 or 5 players were more important than Lamkel Zé, at the front and at the back.
The star was Faïz Selemani, who is also a loose cannon with an unhealthy big ego. But compared to Lamkel Zé yesterday, Selemani is a choirboy and a formidable player in that respect.

That Lamkel Zé reacts to that once with his assist, that should certainly be possible. But after that he kept busy with his own show throughout the match: dropping, lying down, playing the audience… That’s really just pathetic.
Especially because Lamkel Zé – in relation to the enormous qualities he has
as a footballer – actually showed nothing yesterday.
If KV Kortrijk is a serious club, the Lamkel Zé should apologize to the people of Antwerp.
